How We Choose What to Feature
Every product, deal, or offer we write about is one our editorial team would genuinely consider buying or using ourselves. We look at real price history where available, factor in shipping and hidden costs, and skip items where the “deal” is inflated against an artificially high list price. If a discount looks too good to be true, we say so — or we leave it out.
How We Verify Prices and Codes
Prices and promo codes are checked at the time of publishing. E-commerce pricing changes constantly, so every post includes a disclaimer reminding readers to confirm the current price before purchasing. We are not responsible for price changes, expired codes, or retailer stock issues that occur after publication — but we do our best to keep our most-visited posts current.
How We Handle Affiliate Relationships
Compare and Save participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may enter into similar partnerships with other retailers and networks over time. When a link is monetized, we disclose it directly inside the post — not just on a separate disclosure page — because we think readers deserve to know at the moment it’s relevant, not buried somewhere they have to go looking for it. Editorial Independence
Whether or not a product or offer earns us a commission never determines whether we recommend it. We turn down deals that don’t meet our bar, and we call out real downsides in the products we do feature (limited warranty, subscription requirements, a hub you may not already own, etc.) — a recommendation with no caveats is usually not one you can fully trust.
